These policies apply to all users of the site, including, without limitations, users who are bowers, customers, wholesalers, brokers, and / or contributors of content.
Placing an Order:
Orders can be made through emailing or by phone call. the inventory may vary. contact us directly for up-to-date inventory. your shipping date / day will be Monday of every week unless it's a Holiday and in that case, it will be Tuesday. For like chicks or adult birds, we DO NOT ship in extreme heat or cold or in a hurricane.
Payments are due when your order is placed. M & M Homestead accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express over the phone. Other payment methods include PayPal and Apple Pay. M & M Homestead only accepts credit cards issued by US banks. No Checks accepted.
Poultry shipping and Arrival:
M & M Homestead ships live poultry and eggs on Mondays unless of weather, holidays, extreme heat or cold. All orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express. Orders most commonly arrive in 2 days or less but can take up to 3. Your order should arrive no later than Friday. Chicks are typically held at the POST OFFICE, and they should call you to pick them up, however, it is YOUR responsibility to track you order and NOT depend on the call from the post office... Please contact your local post office to determine how they handle packages of live animals or if alternative arrangements need to be made for delivery. Poultry MUST be picked up from the Post Office promptly. Orders that are not picked up within 8 hours of arrival at the Post Office forfeit M & M Homestead 48-hour Livability Policy. Additionally, due to their perishable nature, the Post Office resorbs the right to rehome live poultry left at the Post Office overnight, and no refund reshipment will be available to you.
Hatching Egg orders are typically delivered with your regular mail to the address on the package. See more specific shipping detail, including rates.
Day- Old Poultry and Hatching Eggs Pickup:
Live Poultry and hatching egg orders will be available for pick up at 1110 4th street Panama City Florida 32409, Monday - Friday from 10am - 4pm by appointment ONLY and Saturday 8am - 1pm by appointment ONLY. NO LATE PICK UPS. NO EXCEPTIONS, also NO REFUNDS. If you do not pick-up your order during the stated times, you forfeit the amount paid for the live poultry or hatching eggs due to their perishable nature. Pickup orders MUST be placed and paid for in advance. We are not able to accept payment at the time of pick up.
Cancellations:
As we are dealing with live animals, M & M Homestead is not able to cancel orders within 1 week of hatch. Should an emergency arise, please contact us. M & M Homestead reserves the right to request a $10.00 order cancellation fee.
Wholesale customers are not able to change or reduce their orders within 2 weeks of hatch.
Change to Order
Adjustments can be made to your order by contacting M & M Homestead directly via call or email prior to your order going into "process". This means that orders cannot be changed on ship day but could also mean that orders cannot be changed the week before your ship date. In the event of excessive changes. M & M Homestead reserve the right to request a $10.00 order change fee.
Gender Accuracy Policy:
M & M Homestead sells all live poultry as straight run at this time for Poultry under 22 weeks. Poultry over 22 weeks of age will be sexed accordingly.
Juvenile Poultry Policy:
Juvenile poultry, such as starter pullets, are guaranteed to be live on arrival or pick up only. We do not extend any further policies on quality or Livability: only that they are the gender requested.
NPIP Certificates:
M & M Homestead is a member of the National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP). Our NPIP status is U.S. Pullorum-Typhoid Clean with added classification AI Clean and Salmonella Monitored.
Vaccines:
M & M Homestead is a Vaccine free farm. We do not offer vaccine for any of our poultry.
Pricing
M & M Homestead strives to ensure accurate pricing and information, but we cannot guarantee our website to be free of pricing or typographical errors. Prices are subject to change.
